The Iowa Legislature lists Turek among the sponsors of H.F. 697, a bill to create a housing tax credit program and increase first-time-homebuyer tax incentives. Limit: Sponsorship is not enactment. Turek is one of 32 listed sponsors, not the first-listed sponsor, and the official history shows the bill was introduced and referred to the State Government Committee in April 2023.
