Brown office-history wording narrowed

The Texas legislative and attorney general records checked list no service for Brown. The earlier wording said he had never held office; the search does not establish his entire office history. Its original dates and the opinion index's 1939 limit remain visible.

Luria Chesapeake Bay funding check updated

Luria's live campaign page says $85 million; the earlier page said $85 billion. The card now includes fiscal 2020 funding and the later enacted reauthorization, with a matches stated direction label. Her individual role in securing the money is not established; the archived quotation remains in the history.

Taylor crime check summary corrected

The one-line summary of Treg Taylor's crime check said FBI figures showed the lowest crime rate of any fully reported year since 1985. The check itself says that is not established; the summary now matches it.

Lawler’s six housing measures corrected to their formal sponsor roles

An earlier summary grouped two Lawler-sponsored housing bills with four he cosponsored as the six authored measures. The corrected comparison identifies six separate formally Lawler-sponsored bills and their corresponding core law provisions; other cosponsored package measures remain separate, and version changes are disclosed.

Iowa campaign-finance totals corrected to the full cycle

The Iowa desk had displayed the latest reporting-period receipts and spending under cycle labels for Mitchell, James and Bushaw. All three rows now use detailed-summary Column B of the named June 30 reports, checked against OpenFEC. Cash and debt figures are unchanged.

Ohio's 7th District coverage note corrected

We removed the statement that Brian Poindexter makes no claims about his own record. The desk now describes the checks completed so far without treating its existing cards as a complete inventory of either candidate's campaign statements. Additional claims require their own source checks.
