What the record shows ·
She introduced H.R. 10093, the Cancer Research Trust Fund Act, on August 13, 2026. It would create a cancer research fund and authorize Congress to put into it an amount equal to 10 percent of the duties collected on imported tobacco each year, with rare cancers and childhood cancers first in line. It was sent to the Energy and Commerce Committee and has gone no further.
Limit: The bill authorizes the money; Congress would still have to provide it. It has had no committee vote.
