A few minutes on the record.
Short reads. Each one answers one question, names the document, and links the source.
Five public records to open before you decide
Ballot, words, vote, money, and the correction. Five files. Not a score.
What a voting record is
A roll call, a bill, and a law are three different files. The question on the vote is part of the fact.
Who could vote, in eight dates
The national rules, from the Constitution to age 18. States started it. Amendments and one statute changed it. None of those dates tells you who to vote for.
What a campaign total actually shows
An amount, a committee, and a period. The form does not say why anyone voted.
