She is the sponsor of the PURE Executive Act in three consecutive Congresses: H.R. 1830 (introduced March 11, 2021), H.R. 5594 (September 20, 2023), and H.R. 8544 (April 28, 2026). Its official title is to amend title 18, United States Code, to establish a 5-year post-employment ban on lobbying by former senior executive branch personnel and to prohibit such personnel from lobbying at any time on behalf of foreign governments or entities controlled by foreign governments; the 2021 version reads "on behalf of foreign clients." Each was referred to the House Judiciary Committee and none received a vote. The 2021 bill had one Democratic and four Republican cosponsors, the 2023 bill one Republican cosponsor, and the 2026 bill one Democratic cosponsor. She has also cosponsored three bills whose titles carry lobbying: H.R. 3049 (2021), which would bar a former Member of Congress from lobbying on behalf of a Communist country, and H.R. 1190 (2024) and H.R. 1883 (2026), which clarify what lobbying registrations must contain; each was referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

Limit: The bans in the PURE Executive Act reach former senior executive branch personnel, not Members of Congress; the one cosponsored bill that reaches former Members, H.R. 3049, would bar lobbying for a Communist country only. None of these bills has had a committee or floor vote. The biography sentence bundles three subjects; the child-care part is borne out by H.R. 7498, which she sponsored. "Bipartisan" rests on the cosponsor lists of the 2021 and 2026 bills.
