On September 1, 2026 he voted Yea on H.Res. 1498, "In the matter of allegations relating to Representative Chuck Edwards," a North Carolina Republican. It passed 413 to 2 (Roll Call 292). The resolution adopted a House Ethics Committee report that found he acted improperly toward two women on his staff, and censured him.
