What the record shows
The House Appropriations Committee's own roster for the 119th Congress names Chuck Fleischmann as chairman of the Energy and Water Development subcommittee. Her own House office page says that today she serves as the first woman to be Ranking Member of that subcommittee, which is the minority counterpart to the chair and not the same post.
