His campaign says he is fighting to keep families and neighborhoods safe by supporting law enforcement and first responders, and that he helped pass what it calls the most comprehensive border security solution, against the flow of illegal drugs, human trafficking and exploitation.
Her campaign says she would push comprehensive immigration reform that secures the border, streamlines legal pathways, protects Dreamers and invests against human trafficking and drug smuggling, and that Immigration and Customs Enforcement must follow the law and be accountable. On public safety she says she would fund what local law enforcement needs, expand victim services and community-based mental health response, and close loopholes she says let weapons flood the streets.
