Her campaign says she would support passage of the PRO Act to strengthen the right to organize and collective bargaining, and strong enforcement of the Davis-Bacon Act so federally funded infrastructure work pays prevailing wages, and says she holds a 100 percent lifetime voting record with the Iowa Federation of Labor.

She says she would pass the PRO Act and raise the minimum wage in Congress. She is one of sixteen Senate sponsors of Senate File 2045 (2026), increasing the state minimum hourly wage, introduced and referred to the Workforce Committee on January 14, 2026 with a subcommittee assigned. She is also among the sponsors of Senate File 147 (2025) and Senate File 2046 (2026) on wage-payment collection, and of Senate File 263 (2025) on public-employee collective bargaining. None advanced out of committee. Limit: A state minimum-wage bill is not the federal measure she names, and the PRO Act has no state analogue; the direction of her sponsorships matches the direction of the statement, and none of the bills advanced.
