Her plan says the decision belongs to a woman, her doctor and her faith, that in Congress she voted to codify Roe v. Wade and to protect the right to travel for abortion services, and that she will keep working to write the right to choose into federal law.
Her campaign says she believes abortion laws should be set at the state level and opposes what it calls radical policies allowing abortion up to the moment of birth, that she has advocated for women to choose life while respecting exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother, and that she has supported expanding access to contraception and protecting access to in vitro fertilization.
