The campaign's first-quarter 2026 announcement, $8.9 million, is not settled by the principal committee's report, which shows $8,661,662.38 in receipts for January 1 to March 31, 2026, $238,337.62 less. The announcement does not say whether it counts money raised through a joint fundraising committee; if it does, the principal committee's report would not show all of it yet, and adding the committees' reports together would count transfers twice. So the first-quarter figure is not settled here in either direction.
