Was Mike Rogers an Army officer and an FBI agent?

Matches stated record claim. The official Congressional Directory lists him as an Army captain and an FBI special agent on public corruption and organized crime; it does not say he worked in Chicago.

What they say

In the October 8 WOOD TV8 debate, Rogers said he was a U.S. Army officer and an FBI special agent, and that as an agent in Chicago he did fugitive raids.

What the record shows · Feb 18, 2014

The official Congressional Directory of 2014 lists his military service as "U.S. Army, Captain" and his work before Congress as "FBI Special Agent, assigned to public corruption and organized crime units". The House's own biography dates his Army service 1985-1989 and his FBI service 1989-1994.

Limit: Neither record says where he was posted or lists the cases he worked, so Chicago and the fugitive raids are his own account.
