What the record shows · Apr 22, 2024

The department's own post from April 2024 says its Farm to School program was delivering North Carolina beef to 108 school systems, and that ground beef was one of two new items. It does not name any supplier. The program's food-origins page lists Hickory Nut Gap ground beef among its deliveries, including weeks in 2026.
