His campaign issues page states no position on Social Security, Medicare or retirement; its right-to-life section says he stands with Iowa's seniors. In his own posts he says the largest tax cut in American history means no tax on tips, overtime or Social Security, and he lists new retirement savings accounts for working families among what he is leading on for Iowa.
Her campaign says she would never support cuts to or privatization of Social Security and Medicare, nor weakening Iowa's public-employee pension system, and would work to strengthen those programs and expand Medicaid access in rural communities.
