Hinson (member H001091, Republican, Iowa) voted Yea on House Roll Call 308 on September 16, 2026, agreeing to the Senate amendments to H.R.5334; the motion passed 262–159, with 12 not voting. The Clerk displays the earlier educator-deduction title. The official bill-status history links the August 7 Senate amendments and title amendment to that final House concurrence and September 18 enactment as Public Law 119-111. The Senate amendment, enrolled bill and public law establish the version chain: Division A contains Russia sanctions and an extension of the Iran Sanctions Act to 2031; Division B contains the educator deduction. Sections102–113 include sanctions, prohibitions and duties with specified timing and determinations; sections 114–115 provide exceptions and waivers,116 implementation/penalties,117 termination, and 203 a five-year sunset except for 201. No enforcement, waiver use or economic outcome was checked. The retained March 9, 2022 comparison is the initial House passage of H.R.6968 (Roll 70, Hinson Yea, 414–17), whose House-passed section2 proposed the Russian-energy import ban with contract and national-interest provisions; it is not a finding about the final amended 2022 law. Both votes predate the October 13 debate. The statement remains a paraphrase from one saved native-caption original, cues 420–425, read in full surrounding context 380–508. It does not name either bill. These are two supporting votes, not a census of her sanctions record, evidence of authorship, proof of enforcement or effects, or proof of the reason for a personal Russian entry ban.
