What the record shows ·
America's Conservation Enhancement Act became Public Law 116-188 on October 30, 2020. It renewed the Chesapeake Bay Program and wetlands grants, started a Chesapeake watershed habitat program, and wrote a national fish habitat partnership program into law. Its fish habitat title closely follows H.R. 1747, a bill he sponsored in 2019. It also carries, with small changes, three 2019 Bay bills that Democrats sponsored and he cosponsored from the start: H.R. 1620, H.R. 2427 and H.R. 4967.
Limit: The House passed the final law by voice vote, so no roll call shows his vote. The law's Senate sponsor was John Barrasso.
