She sponsored the Shrinkflation Prevention Act of 2024 (H.R. 7825), introduced March 26, 2024 and referred to a subcommittee. Separately, she sponsored the Fair Prices for Local Businesses Act (H.R. 8184, April 2, 2026), which would strengthen the Clayton Act's prohibition on price discrimination; it concerns pricing, not mergers. No official record of her opposing a grocery-chain merger was found: none of the titles of her 57 sponsored bills and resolutions concerns a merger, and searches of her House office's site and of news coverage of congressional letters on the Kroger and Albertsons merger did not find her name.

Limit: The label rests on the shrinkflation half, where her sponsorship matches the direction she states. The merger half is unconfirmed, not disproved: opposition to a merger usually takes the form of a letter or a comment to the Federal Trade Commission, and the FTC's docket for the Kroger and Albertsons merger was not searched.
