“Five bills that Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz introduced became law as provisions of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act”
What the record shows ·
The act became Public Law 119-101 on July 11, 2026, without the President's signature; she voted Yea on its final House vote (358 to 32, June 23). Five of its sections carry bills she is listed on. She sponsored three: the Housing Affordability Act (section 211), the VA Home Loan Awareness Act (section 601, under the heading Military Service Question) and the HUD-USDA-VA Interagency Coordination Act (section 801). She is an original cosponsor of the other two: the Housing Supply Expansion Act (section 301) and the Housing Unhoused Disabled Veterans Act (section 602).
Limit: Two of the five are other members' bills that she cosponsored from the day they were introduced, which this site counts as hers. The campaign post names four; her House office's release names the fifth. The law was written by many hands, and these sections are a small part of it.
